Information you provide

We collect information needed to provide the services you request, including your name, email address, mobile number, billing and delivery addresses, account details and order information. We may retain order history, selected products, payment status and transaction references, and customer communications such as support requests, feedback and return details. Account passwords are stored as hashes.

Technical information, cookies & storage

Our website and service providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, access times, pages visited and error or security logs. Sign-in uses a session cookie; the bag and wishlist use local browser storage. Cookies and similar technologies may support essential functionality and, where enabled and permitted, analytics or marketing. You can manage cookies and clear local storage through your browser; blocking essential storage may affect sign-in or remove saved items.

How we use information

We use necessary information to operate the storefront and support your relationship with Pagudi.

• Create and manage accounts, process payments, fulfil orders and arrange delivery, returns, exchanges or refunds.
• Respond to customer communications and resolve complaints.
• Detect fraud, prevent misuse and protect customers, accounts and systems.
• Understand website performance, troubleshoot problems and improve products and services, including analytics where enabled.
• Send order and service updates, and marketing communications where permitted. You may opt out of marketing through an available unsubscribe option or by contacting support; necessary service messages may continue.
• Meet applicable legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations.

Payment information

Payments are processed through payment service providers. Pagudi does not intend to store customers' complete card details, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP or other sensitive payment authentication credentials. We may receive payment status, transaction references and limited payment-method information needed to reconcile orders or refunds. Enter authentication details only in the authorised payment flow and never send them to support.

Sharing information

We share information reasonably necessary for a service with payment processors, logistics partners, technology and hosting providers, suppliers and fulfilment partners. For example, a delivery partner needs your delivery address and contact details. Providers' processing may also be governed by their own privacy terms. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to respond to lawful requests or to protect rights and investigate fraud.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including access controls and protections for account credentials. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Use a strong password, keep your device secure and contact us promptly about suspected account misuse.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including service delivery, legal or tax records, fraud prevention and resolving disputes. Retention varies by record type and applicable obligations. When no longer required, information is deleted or anonymised, subject to legitimate retention requirements and backup cycles.

Your privacy choices & rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to information about you, correction of inaccurate details, deletion where available, or withdrawal of consent for consent-based processing. You may also raise a privacy grievance. Contact support with your request; we may verify your identity and explain any lawful reason why a request cannot be fully fulfilled. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate prior lawful processing and may affect services that depend on it.
